When it Rains the Flowers Grow

.A collaboratively devised performance exploring the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on live art and life. When it Rains the Flowers Grow is an exploration of a moment in time, drawing on traditions of early cinema, rich theatrical aesthetics and the physical comedy of silent clowns such as Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, to situate us in a snapshot of screen time, physical estrangement and long distance phone calls.

Devised and performed by Kaiya Bartholomew, Nell O’Hara, Joe Kinnear and Julia Darrouy.

It looks like a day at the spa. It looks like an empty supermarket.

It feels like when you’re hungry. It feels like it will never end.

It feels like making making what you can (can) with what you can (can).
